DRDO NPOL Recruitment 2026 for Junior Research Fellow Posts

DRDO-Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) has announced recruitment for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) posts in multiple engineering and science disciplines, including Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Opto Electronics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, Oceanography and related fields. Four Mechanical Engineering vacancies are confirmed, while vacancies in the remaining disciplines are anticipated based on requirements. Candidates require relevant B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech or postgraduate qualifications along with GATE/NET eligibility as applicable. Selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview on October 10, 2026, at Kochi, Kerala.

1. Eligible candidates may send a one-page bio-data to the email address specified in the notification for pre-registration and administrative arrangements.
2. Report for the walk-in interview on October 10, 2026, at 9:30 AM.
3. The interview will be conducted at Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, NPOL Campus, Thrikkakara P.O., Kochi – 682021.
4. Bring the required original educational and other certificates for verification.
5. Carry self-attested copies of the prescribed testimonials and certificates.
6. Bring the applicable community certificate and valid GATE/NET scorecard.
7. Carry a valid photo identity document and one recent passport-size colour photograph.
8. Candidates should report at the venue within the prescribed reporting time to participate in the selection process.
