Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Government of India company, has announced Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for 139 Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentice vacancies. The recruitment includes 78 Graduate Apprentice and 61 Technician Apprentice positions across Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Civil, Computer, Commercial Practice, Fire & Safety, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and other disciplines. Candidates require a Degree or Diploma in the relevant Engineering/Technology discipline, and only Kerala domicile candidates who passed their qualifying examination during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible. The apprenticeship training will be for one year, and eligible candidates can apply online through the NATS portal from 12 August to 1 September 2026.

Visit the NATS apprenticeship portal and complete Student registration if not already registered.
New candidates should complete their profile and obtain the required NATS enrolment number.
Existing NATS users can log in with their registered credentials; candidates with older accounts may need to activate/access their account through the password recovery option.
After logging in, search for “COCHIN SHIPYARD LIMITED” under available apprenticeship opportunities.
Select the relevant Graduate or Technician Apprentice discipline and proceed with the application.
Enter and verify all required educational, personal and Kerala domicile information.
Upload the prescribed certificates and supporting documents wherever required.
Submit the online application between 12 August and 1 September 2026.
Retain the submitted application/enrolment details for certificate verification and future reference.
