BITM Recruitment 2026 for 6 Junior Mentor Posts

Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has announced BITM Recruitment 2026 for 6 Junior Mentor posts on a contractual basis under the Scheme for Promoting Innovation, Creativity and Engagement of Science (SPICES). The vacancies are available in Electronics, Life Sciences and Physics-related disciplines at BITM Kolkata and its associated science centres. Candidates with a first-class M.Sc in Science or B.E./B.Tech in the relevant discipline along with at least one year of relevant experience can participate. Selection will be through a Walk-in Personal Interaction scheduled for 25 September 2026.

1. Visit the official BITM or NCSM website and download the Junior Mentor recruitment notification and application form.
2. Fill out the prescribed application form with the required information.
3. Prepare the required educational, experience, age, identity and category certificates.
4. Carry the original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies.
5. Report to the appropriate walk-in venue corresponding to the position for which you wish to be considered.
6. Candidates should report at 9:00 AM on 25 September 2026; entry will be permitted only up to 11:00 AM.
7. Submit the completed application form and supporting documents at the venue.
8. Complete document verification and appear for the Walk-in Personal Interaction.
